Another American Birthday

Asha has probably had more birthdays in either America or Bolivia than she has in Canada! Two years ago we were in Pennsylvania and celebrated her 6th birthday. This time we were back to attend Mennonite World Conference.

We were staying with Lynn and Laurie, which was very special. In the evening, there was a gathering of Bolivian friends and so we continued the celebrations there! It was a blessing to be with people that love Asha so very much, but we don't see very often. We aren't sure the next time we will be with them all, so Asha made sure that she soaked up every minute of it.

 

    

Now that Fall is Here....

I decided to take a bit of a break from blogging since summer is very short and we had a whirlwind of activities going on. There's a time and a place for documenting events as they happen, and then there are other times when it's good to enjoy them and leave them to reflect on later.

So I'll tell you all about our latest birthday in our household, the adventure we went on to the United States, coming back and starting school, and of course the new chapter in my life.
