Asha has been a bit disappointed over the last few months and many of her classmates have already lost teeth. It especially irks her when kids younger than her are sporting huge gaps in their mouth, "When will it be my turn to get money for my teeth?!"
Well a few weeks before Christmas she came bouncing into the living room to show us that her tooth was slightly loose! She was almost beside herself with glee and each week she was working on getting that tooth out.
Yesterday we were at a funeral and one of our friends told her they would give her $10 if she yanked out her tooth. And not 10 minutes later in the van, she pulled it out. We put it in a plastic bag to put under her pillow and then she promptly lost the tooth before she could get it there. Sigh....well, the tooth fairy brought her a large coin which made her extremely happy. No more baby milk teeth for her, she's growing up and cashing in.
