We didn't go to The Lake but we went to the lake to spend the day with my parents and brothers. It was a glorious day and evening to be with them. It was so relaxing and the weather cleared up enough to get on to the water. The kids enjoyed the tube ride, although Asha's hands were a bit sore from trying to hang on. Elena loved the boat rides and having the wind blowing in her face. Joel wanted to try knee boarding and he did an awesome job. He was successful all three times, as if he had been doing it all his life. Kezia wanted to try and lo! and behold, she did really well. The first attempt she got up and cruised behind the boat for quite a while. The second time Grandpa accidently jerked the line and she did a huge face in the water. Up she came, waved to us and said, "I think I'm done now". It's really quite lovely at the lake.
