He really enjoyed it and hardly bothered to take off his team uniform once he got home. Last year, he was a bit hesitant on joining a soccer league, but since he played more at school this past year, his interest was sparked. I think he was nervous since kids here start playing soccer before they can master walking! And for a kid who's not quite 8 but looks 10 or 11, there isn't much grace for lack of skills. But nonetheless, he went at it and did really well.
It's kind of cool to see him head outside with his soccer ball and practice the moves he learned.

Way to go! It's so fun seeing them try and excel at something! I'm sure he did really well...i'll come back later as the pictures aren't showing up! but i did notice your sidebar...reading (9 DAYS LEFT TO GO)....hooray!!!
