Last Year of His 30's

Yes, it's true.  Carl is 39 and seems to be holding up alright.  It's traumatizing to be almost 40.  That's when everything seems to go....hearing, sight, comprehension, cool factor and fashion.  But Carl seems to be holding on to all of those things quite well and is the envy of the town.

Joel even said to him, "Hey Dad, it seems like your bald spot is clearing up!".  So we're thinking that the year is going to be a good one.  Like good wine, he gets better with each passing year.  We're very blessed to have Carl as our husband and dad.  We love him to the end of the earth and thank God for him every day.
