Joel and Kezia remembered a little bit from the last time, but for Asha, she was only a year when we went, so all of this was new to her. We discovered the gems and minerals section in the Museum of Natural History, and saw the Hope Diamond, as well as had the energy to explore The Museum of Space and Aviation. A pretty great day with special friends.

D.C.
Laurie and I and six kids piled into the van and head to the nation's capital to see the capitol. Elena stayed behind in childcare at the orientation, which was such a blessing. A two year old might not appreciate the long drive, the long walks along the Mall just to look at stuff. So I tell you, it was weird and lovely to have only three charges for that day.

Where is that metal tree? I've been to DC many times and I've never seen that. It's very cool!
