Virginia!

After the retreat, we headed further south to Virginia. Carl's aunt and uncle and cousin live there and we were glad for the opportunity to see them in their home.  Though it was a quick trip, we packed in a lot.  Dress up, ice cream trip, a ride in a convertible, the best tire swing ever, Monticello (including Asha's commentary on why Thomas Jefferson had to have so many slaves....) and a BBQ with local peaches and jello jigglers.  It is a shame that we don't live closer to Auntie Irma and Uncle Bill.  They are quite marvellous folks!
