Asha's 11 Months

Another month has just flown by for our little darling. This month, she has had a lot happening in her life . She sat in a carseat for 4500km as we moved from Fresno back to Winnipeg, and except for maybe 2 days, has been on the go seeing people for the last 16 days. Whew!

Some milestones or events this month are:

*going to Disneyland
*starting to say her first words, "Up", "Kitty", "Mama", "Daddy" "GramPa"
*she learned how to crawl up and down stairs
*had her face painted at the church picnic
*got her own room which meant,
*sleeping for 9 hours in a row at night!!!
*went to her second wedding
*had her first attack by mosquitoes
*had her first fever

And no sign of any more teeth; she still just has those little two chicklets on the bottom and she's had those for the last 5 months. I'm thinking she might need dentures pretty soon!

Asha is really learning to express herself. She loves to play peek-a-boo, and points when she wants to see something. She has been thrilled to spend time with other babies or small children. I don't know if it's the humidity or what, but her hair is starting to be curly in the back. She also starting to scream more when she wants something (which can be really annoying), and she totally understands you when you talk to her. A few days ago, she was spilling bits off her high chair, and Joel said to her, "Don't do that, you're making a big mess!" And Asha, paused, looked at him, shook her head No, and kept dumping stuff off her tray. Lil' monkey!!

Well, no palm trees in the background for this months' photoshoot. The last while, the weather has been warmer, but on the day I was going to take her pictures, it was cool, windy and rainy outside. Sigh. Hopefully the weather will be gorgeous for next month; Asha'll be one year old!
